#29203 - monitorprogram in internal flash??? |
Hello,
is it possible to use a monitorprogram in the internal flash of a micro e.g. 89C51 and execute the applicationprogram in an external RAM? I thougth of a simple bootloader program stored in the internal flash that stores an applicationprogram received via RS232 into the external RAM. Is it possible to run a program in flash and then jump to another program located in the external RAM? What do i have to note? May i locate external RAM at 0x0000? How to connect EA pin? Is it enough to set PC = start of external RAM and set the SFR to their reset values? What about the interrupt vectors? Thanks, Markus |
