Thank You Srinivas, Steve, Hal and Venkatesh for your kind responses. Now, comming to the problems part...
First of all, our circuit is already made and (at this juncture) we dont want to make any more modifications (like the addition of the Super***** chip). For reset, what I tried to do is use a 1µF/63v Capacitor (from Vcc to pin9 of dip) and a 10k Resistor (to Gnd). This should generate the reset pulse required. Also, as Venkatesh suggested, I did put a Delay in my routine initially. The problem remains that none of the LED's are glowing when I O/P 1's to Port A B and C of 8255 (they will be changed in the next project, but for now they are available in plenty, or atleast my boss feels they are OK, so I dont have a say there).
What I feel is that I should use some kind of Inverter-Diode combinations to drive the LEDs (initially I thought that 8255's are capable of driving LEDs).
The second problem is with DACs. No matter what combination of Resistors I use,I am not getting a Voltage other than -8.67 volts and that too (too sadly) on both Iout and Iout'. BTW, I am using DAC0800.
This is the reason I asked for some example circuits.
