The "vanilla" 68000 is a bit archaic now, but its many newer derivatives are viable. In addition to checking out the Motorola website as already suggested here, I would recommend performing a Google search. Searching for +68000 +programming, I was overwhelmed with links to relevant websites.
One of the biggest things to be aware of when migrating from an 8-bit background to 32 bits, is the issue of data object address alignment. By the way, just to pick a nit, the 68000 is a CISC architecture, not RISC. |
