What shift register and what latch do you use in your system?. Are you sure you have not forgotten to connect all the unused inputs of this ICs?.
BTW: I have used a CMOS 40xx which includes both the shift register and the latch (8 bits). I can't remember the exact type at the moment. I had no problem with that chip. Regards, Alfredo. |
