#29808 - Triac fuse? |
I have an 8051 system that drives a MOC3022
opto device which switches a triac that supplies around 2A. Occasionally, the output is short circuited by failure of the following circuitry (over which I have no influence). Is there any means of protecting the triac via a fuse? Will a standard fuse blow before the triac, or will an electronic fuse component protect the triac - or is there another way? Thanks, Chris. |
