First of all, I want to know if there is a software available for testing electronic circuits through simulation. Also, do they have some kind of trial versions to check out and are they priced reasonably (for what they are worth).
Most CPLD manufactureres give you software (often with schematic capture) that will simulate. I think Xilinx still give away the software for the CoolRunners, this will give you all you want for free. OK, it simulates the CoolRunner, but then use a CoolRunner or copy the logic into HC chips.
