#30640 - IR sensor |
Hello all,
i am using IR LED and photodiode in an application, i have connected the anode of IR LED to +3V through current limit resisor of 1K ohm. at the receiver side a transistor switches regular LED. the bias voltage for receiver is +3V and it is in forward bias. the space between the receiver and transmitter is 5mm. my application is to sense some solution drops falling into a tube. i am unable to achieve the sensing from transmitter and receiver. the trans and receiver diodes size is 3mm LEDs. i am using EVERLIGHT sensors. is there any specific circuit required other than the connections i mentioned above? please suggest. i changed the current limiting resistor to 680ohms, but no result. regards, hemanth |
