You are strictly limited to 8 custom programmed characters at any given time on any one display. I have used these displays before to make special symbols sometimes and had applications that needed more than 8 symbols for the whole application but not more than 8 at any given time.
Here is an example.....On one product with an 8x2 character display the customer wishes to display two output settings for the two channels at the same time. The output range that wanted to be displayed is 0.0 -> 15.0. If I used the decimal point in the display the outputs in the obvious way the display would look like this and is very bad,,, Ch1 Ch2 10.314.9 |
