I think it was Supertex that used to make a addressable serial decoder chip called the DC7A which used Manchester encoding, altho I didn't see it in their current product list (via http://www.motionnet.com/).
The chip had an input & an output port, received 1 byte address & 1 byte data, sent back same. I'm sure the data sheet explained everything about the encoding technique. |
