In fairness to the online store here, the ProFlash is sold as
"ProFlash89 Atmel Part Programmer"
in Big Blue letters. There is no intention to imply it will program Philips parts, but it does do a big tranche of Atmel ones, hence the name
"ProFlash89 Atmel Part Programmer"
