#30785 - RE: //Erik |
Is v/f and f/v conversion at other end easier than PWM as Mr Michale stated?
I tend to disagree Erik for my application which is sending dc level between 0 - 1 VDC to emulate a sensor reading for the software guys to start working on their project. However V/F and F/V might be better solution for higher frequency signals. Would this method work to transmit isolated video signals? I need 8 analog signals, will try to make a potentiometer and send wires directly non isolated to the National Instrumen Data Aquisition card and see how things work. They need this project in less than a week so i need to rush for a change and finish a project quickly. I bought all the necessary components today and will drill the holes in the box and install all the flashy switches and LEDs and knobs. I will leave the LCD display till last, although i think putting LCD display to monitor sensor voltage is stupid because we can read the analog voltage directly from the PC with the LabView software.
