#30802 - Serial Communications 8051 |
Hi
To simulate a serial Communication, I propose to do the following, 1. Connect an external switch to AT89C51. 2. Configure the serial port to receive the data. 3. Switch on and off the external switch rapidly to simulate data transmission. 4. Move the data to internal registers. Could any one tell me the following, a. Which pin of the 8051 to use? b. How do I configure the port. c. Since I am switching on and off manually, how do I set the transmission rate? I hope I have made myself understood! Regards Pramod Kumar |
