Ok, but about 100 of my "8051" boards have a 80c552 Philips part (a/d) already on it an an external eprom. I can't change the 80c552 but I can plug a rom emulator into the socket that the eprom goes in (even though it is a 44pinplcc I have an adapter to a 28pin dip).
