Hi all,
I am working on 8051.I want to store some data in external flash memory.So i wnat to access the memory device. I am using SST28SF040A device for the external flash memory. I have gone through the datasheet of the device. In that particularly mentoined that the address is latch at HIGH to LOW transition of the CHIP ENABLE ,and tha data is LATCH at LOW to HIGH transition of the CHIP ENABLE ..
I have done the SRAM interfacing . In that if i once enable the SRAM by making the /ce(active low) LOW then the CHIP is ENABLED .So we can send the data to the SRAM and we can read the data from SRAM.

In case of flash according to the datasheet we have to take care about the CHIP ENABLE pin.but making the chipselect (/ce) high to low & Low to High is tedious job ....

so iwant toknow that is there any extra Circuit to controll the ChipSelect(/ce)...

so kindly try to solve my problem...
