#31250 - RE: Division to 5 places |
No. I only need a 44 inch range. I'm measuring distance with glass scales that have 2 Sinwave outputs in quadrature (a & B). The scales feed a 5x or 10x (before quad decoding) PLL-box. The box outputs a&b(TTL in Quad) to a counter / quad decoder. The counter is 24 bits.
Each glass scale output has a wavelength of .00002 meters or .0007874 inches. 5x is the least division of the PLL-Box. So I have a .0000397 per counter bit value. The Max resolution I need is .0001" Thanks Brian |
