#31376 - RE: MODBUS protocol |
You could discard the message after verifying that the message was not for the intended device but how would you know when to start looking for the next message? remember that the Modbus does not have STX or ETX characters in the protocol.
According to the standard there is only a 3.5bit time required between the end of one message and the start of the next. Let me know how you get on. Regards Marshall Brown |
