Arrow electronic can sell Philips parts like 89c668 (this is my choice), but for only a few parts, you'll have to check your local distributors. If he is a customer of Arrow, he could order some parts for you.
This is what I've done here in France to obtain 1 or 2 chips of 89c668.

This microcontroller has 64kb of Flash memory you can program by RS232 (ISP). It has also 8 Kb of RAM, timers, PCA, I2C and many I/O.
It cost about 12 euros in France
