#31646 - RE: Graphics LCD Controller |
Mahmood,
Funny thing is that for my application I do not need the lines circles and polygon. Just fonts of three different sizes with the ability of RVV for some menu selector bars. I will need the clever algorithms that permit an entry of a bit mapped font table of size MxN per character (or maybe even variable pitch character) to be written efficiently to the display. I have looked some at the data sheet and it looks like that the serial interface LCD operates write only so it means that it will be necessary to have a memory image of the LCD within the 8052 memory space. This is maybe a good thing to be using Cygnal part as it has onboard bank of XRAM. Mike |
