#31854 - Prototyping with 0.5 mm flex |
I just received a sample of a graphics LCD module. This is a COG style unit with a pre-attached flex cable. This is a 20 conductor flex with a pitch of 0.5 mm.
I need to connect this to a Cygnal C8051F226 evaluation module. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions of how to connect this display in a reasonable way. I see that I can purchase a suitable connector from Digikey but it is a surface mount conector that attaches to pads about the same size as the contacts on the end of the flex cable!!! Any prototype connection ideas are welcome. Thanks Mike Karas |
