#31857 - RE: Prototyping with 0.5 mm flex
Making an adapter PC board may be the only choice.

I did find a company in Germany that offers a cool adapter that is a small PC board with 20 way flex connector on one side to 20 pin ribbon cable header on the other side. It is EXACTLY what I need. I saw it at:

The price of it is 19,72 EUR - but trying to order it to the USA would end up costing nearly as much to just simply make the same thing myself. And if I make it myself then I can include the additional components needed to support the LCD module. With the COG type displays it is necessary to accomodate some capacitors and resistors on the host board for the LCD Vee generator.

So maybe tomorrow I will make a PC board artwork. Goodness,,,maybe I can do the whole thing and even put the Cygnal part footprint right on the same board !!

Thanks
