Just so everyone knows, 8052.com is in the process of moving to a new server. In fact, the move is mostly done. From the logfiles on the old and new server, it looks like 99.9% of all users are already accessing the new server. Everyone should be using the new server as soon as the remaining Internet nameservers around the world update with the latest address information.

The new server gives us more bandwidth, a faster CPU, with a newer version of the operating system. It also gives us the opportunity to reimplement security from the ground-up since, after a few years, things tend to get unorganized on an existing server.

Due to the move, it is possible that certain problems may present themselves. We already experienced the error with the mailing list being sent 30 times in one evening. This morning it has come to my attention that the user home pages were not working correctly.

I would ask that if you run into any problems or errors, please email me personally so that I can fix the problem as soon as possible.
