#32273 - RE: Is an RTOS too much?
hi;
if you put any rtos it is going to consume a certain amount of xram.this xram consumption shall depend on no.of tasks you are running as well as the rtos facilities you intend to include in code i.e.if you decide to use message passing some ram shall be consumed for mailbox datastructure,if you decide to use 6 instead of 12 tasks your ram requiremnt for task control block shall be half etc.if your application needs lots of ram you might be in trouble because you have only 2k of it.
