#33214 - RE: C++ style in C. //Judy / Erik |
Hi Judy
I would be more than happy to get rid of globals unfortunately globals can't be avoided but what we use is local globals, ie define static variables so that they keep their value when the function or interrupt finished. The secret is not to access these local globals from outside the module they are defined in otherwise it will be a mess when you are debugging your code figurring out which part changed the value of the global variable. Erik: You are not writting a data base program with your 8052 are you! Regards Mahmood |
