You may want to use 22.1184 MHz crystal. This offers same features of the 11.0592 MHz but is a whole lot closer to 24 MHz. With this speed it is possible to also get nice exact baud rates. Using timer 1 auto reload this freq also would let you generate a baud rate of 115200 which is the "recognized" high speed mode of a PC serial port.

It is also possible to use 20.2750 MHz. With that you can do 4800 .>>.. 300 baud too.
