I thought at first that you wanted the 8051 to be the PCI bridge:)
You can find several designs for simple bridges on web pages of quite a few FPGA vendors.Although for some bizarre reason all the bridges that I have used have had really nasty bugs in them,nobody ever seems to be able to get them right.
