actuaaly my design is a line card in a system.All other line cards are using 87C51 and communicate with a master processor using this UART in MODE 2.
My design requires a 16 bit device and the controller I am to use doesnt have an UART.I need an external UART for the function.So I need one whicg can do this MODE 2 comm over the shared backplane bus. Maybe, u ppl can help me now. PEACE Ayan |
