#3419 - RE: Ap Note vectors |
Craig,
From your opening message I thought perhaps you are going to launch another kind of chip directory containing just any chip search option by number or by function. But your explanation clarifies my misunderstanding. Of course a database like you are going to do for derivatives enabling the user to make the right choice of a micro for a project is a great idea. My problem is that often I have to search for a particular application. Like on a site <questlink.com> if you search a chip then along with the datasheet they also vector to its application notes by the chip maker company. But you cannot directly search for that application note on questlink. My idea is to implement a vectoring database to the application notes of the companies, which you could search according to requirement and not according to the chip or part number. (reverse to what you can do on questlink) I hope above clarifies. Regards Babar/ |
