mmmm ... that is not at all what I
meant ... maintenance phase is never done, til end-of-life for the product. I mean
that given the likelihood that in a
moderately complex product not ALL of
the bugs are going to be eliminated
prior to shipping, it's best to include
any and all means available to detect
bugs and determine their cause, at
various stages in the lifecycle.
No one has been saying skip other means
in favor of traps, I have been saying
include traps with the other means.
