#34478 - DC vs AC motors |
For a new industrial variable speed drives, which is beter to use, dc or ac motor?
I think that DC motors are cheaper to control and more accurate for speed but more expensive than AC motors and have larger size for same power output. Can you advise please? Regards Mahmood |
