In a certain board design a customer of mine uses now SJA1000 instead of the old 82C200. But they might have a hardware (glitch) problem that causes corrupt data bus readings every 1000 readings or so. Changing the SJA1000 (which should be 100% backward compatible) with the 82C200 makes this problem disappear.

Question: are there still 82C200 Basic CAN chips around. I would gladly buy them, or organise them to be exchanged against SJA1000 (both dip28 versions).
