I agree this is an interesting topic. I also agree with Erik that this is completely off-topic and its existence on 8052.com will serve little more than to raise tensions between people that might otherwise be trying to help each other on 8052 topics. I was happy to let the Eid Mubarak (?) thing go just as I will permit a "Merry Christmas" to go as both are friendly exchanges in a worldwide community wishing each other well. But a political discussion on a technical forum is completely out of place.

For this reaon, I'm closing the thread. Those that wish to continue the discussion are welcome to find a political forum on some other site.
