I have used this chip before , and although it is supposed to drive a speaker,it only provides a paltry 50mW.And if you put a crap speaker on the terminals it bites the dust.
The chip also provides an analog out that can be used to drive a cheap amplifier chip. I know which one I'd rather cook/damage. |
