Hi all

I connect pin 10 and 11 of the AT89c51 to pin 9 and 10 of a max 232.Pin 3 and 2 of max232 to the com port of the PC.

I connect a led to P1.0 of the 8051.

I have the Hyper terminal configured to the same baud rate as the 8051.

The question is

When I type 'ON' in the PC, the LED should come 'on', and when I type 'OFF', the LED should go 'off'.

How and where should I type the ON and OFF commands.

Any advise?
