The old simple to use TERMINAL.EXE program from Win3.1 works quite well on Win 98 and Win 2000. It is a good way to aleviate the pain in the backside caused by HyperTerminal.
Guess what....You can now go the web site of the makers of HyperTerminal and download a free copy of "HyperTerminal Private Edition". And it is NO better than the Microsoft licensed version when it comes to the arcane user interface that requires you to establish a "connection configuration file" before you can even get off first base.
