Hi All,

I am building an electronic speed controller and wanted to measure output shaft RPM. I am looking for some ideas in C. The target device is a Dallas 80C320. The shaft will be reduced in speed to a few hundred RPM max. The shafts may be exposed to water and some times submerged. Any ideas for the method of measurement and code tested or not is appreciated.
