#35013 - RE: Example code on howto control a servo |
Hi Bobby,
Thanks for your code example. The board I'm using has a special third timer (called timer 2) which can be put in a special capture/compare mode which can be used to generate the needed signal. The code example I've given 2 posts up is correct, I've shown it to some students in my class, they've tried it on their board and it works. There are 2 posibilities. 1. My board is defective 2. The servo is defective. I hope it's the latter but when. The Uni is closed because of the holiday season. After the holidays I'm gonna connect it to a scope and measure the signal. Thanks for your help. I think anybody looking for an example for a 8051 board without a captue/compare timer will find it very usefull. |
