The newest keyboards that are made with the rubbery silicone sheet under all the keys are relatively easy to clean if they are taken completely apart. I had to do that becasue a daughters keyboard got Pepsi in it. The big question is the worth of the time. Perfectly good replacement keyboards can some times be had for about $20 US.
