I think that it was very true 20 years ago but not quite so much now,the compilers are so efficient that you can get away without knowing anything about the code produced or how it works,which is a shame because the skill needed to write proper C code is lost in windows APIs and nasty bloatware. You actualy had to worry about how much space the structures were taking.I dunno the young uns today just dont know they are born,when I were a lad we couldnt afford '1's we had to code just using '0's,and that was when they let us out of t' pit. |
