If you need a real Low power MCU, you must migrate to some other devices not 8051 compatible.
I have used a TOSHIBA TMP47C422 4 bit controler with built in LCD driver and AD converter once. At 3V/2MHz - 800uA At 3V/32KHz - 15uA It also supports dual clock mode (2 crystals), so when you go to idle mode, switch the system clock to low speed. |
