#3650 - RE: serial IR learner |
Hi,
I have developed an IR transmitter and receiver, which can transmit and (otherpart) receive any data as 8bit character. It transmits a start bit, then data, and then a Stopbit. The data can be mulitple bytes, the concept is like packet data, so not every byte needs start and stop bits, rather complete data will be transferred with just one start bit and one stop bit. I have used IO pins for transmit and receive wihtout using any interrupt, but interupt can also be arranged upon receiving. Now I am planning to implement an address byte for appropriate receiver, so data can be recognized by only particular receiver that has the same ID, others with different ID will ignore the incomming data. All above based on 8052 code. If you are interested please email me at, ardxb@hotmail.com or microlnk@emirates.net.ae Thnx Rauf |
