Where is this formula coming from
256 - ((Crystal / 384) / Baud)? Can I use any crystal, 3.072MHz for example that is required for 16c450 external UART. BTW, I'm amazed with prices, one 16c450 chip costs as much as 2 tiwce as 8052 controller with single integrated uart and USB function! |
