#36639 - RE: 8052 Knowlwdge Base |
Michael, that's the idea of the "8052 FAQ" to the left. The FAQ was intentionally designed so that anyone that has a few extra minutes and sees a question that is repeatedly asked and should be included in the FAQ may write a FAQ entry and submit it. I receive a notification to review it and, if it's valid and well-written, I can "publish" it to the public FAQ with the click of a mouse.
The problem is, very few people have done this. As it turns out, what usually gets submitted to the FAQ are questions, not answers. That is, people submit questions to the FAQ expecting someone to answer them rather than submitting a question WITH the answer (which is the idea behind a FAQ). Anyone that has time to make an entry in the FAQ, please do. The FAQ page was designed to be user-maintainable in the sense that any user can submit a new entry. As long as it is readable and factually correct, I'll add it to the FAQ very quickly. Regards, Craig Steiner |
