I don't think one person could handle such a task because of the shear volume. What you would need is a committee of people given certain responsibilities.

From the people who come to this forum I doubt if you could find two willing to do this work. They love it when someone else does all of the hard work but when asked for them to contribute they leave skid marks getting away. That's the way it always been and will always be.

There is a real golden opportunity collecting data from the Internet, organizing it and putting it on CDROM for sale. Check out www.codegods.net. This guy is making a fortune collecting public domain data and selling it on CD's.
