#37409 - RE: Code Recovery with Watch Dog Timers |
i'd be more worried about it timing out the watchdog.
I always use a maceo KICK_THE_PUPPY which toggle the watchdog. For diagnostic purposes I replace the contents of the macro with a call to a "timer overflow count examining" routine. In that routine I set a trap for a high count and set a breakpoint on the execution of the trap. This tell me the health of my wahtcdog. Also, if I have a bug that makes the dog bite I can often find the reason using the same substitution. Erik |
