Hello all,
i'm doing a project using at89c51 microcontroller. The objective is to receive the wave file data (audio) through the serial port and send it to the DAC0808. The output of the DAC is fed into the amplifier circuit and then to the speaker.

Is it possible that this can be done ? there are lot of issues like data rate at which the song should be played, conversion speed of the DAC, RS232 receiving speed of AT89C51 ?

I would be grateful if i get some assistance/suggestions for the above said issues
