The difference is the second program moves the contents of Internal RAM address 30h to P1 whereas the first program moves the contents of R0 to P1. It's impossible to tell you the exact results of either program without knowing the contents of R0 and the contents of Internal RAM 30h.
R0 is part of Internal RAM. In "default" configuration R0 is the same as Internal RAM address 00h, but it can be configured to point to 08h, 10h, or 18h depending on the setting of bits RS0 and RS1 in the PSW SFR. Regards, Craig Steiner |
