I want to use the step down transformer to step down the 220V ac to 15V ac. Then, pass it into the bridge rectifier. Then, use 7812 to stablize the 15V ac to 12V dc
"15V ac to 12V dc" I assume is a typo. 15VAC recitfied will not give you 15VDC, it will give you 15 * root2 VDC, which will make your 7912 nice and warm. Felix: small 100k at in and out. I'm sure you mean 100nF Erik |
