Sorry, I meant to say I was using an '04 hex inverter.
As I thought, the schematic using the '125 tristate buffer does work, and it fixed my problems, but a pull up resistor on /EA is mandatory if using the internal program memory, which I'm sure you are. /PSEN automatically pulls itself high. There is a really good thread elsewhere on this site about the characteristics of /PSEN. Hey, I'm finally able to contribute something here. |
