#39514 - RE: intel hex files - First Step Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Nick, From your posting it looks like you want to write code to handle the downloading part from the PC to the MCU board. Well since you say you are new to 8051, then why not start with a proven code for this mundane job ? Log on to www.pjrc.com for a whole lot information on the Paulmon.exe which is a good compact program for interfacing your target board with the PC. The good thing is that it is free and the source code is also given - if you like to go through it. There is enough documentation to get you going. Once you have this going, THEN you can try out your code for the transfer. Let me know if you need any further support on this. Good luck Raghu |
