#39888 - AMD and RS232 |
hi all,
I am encountering a strange problem while communicating to the AT89c51 serially using the 232. The program and circuit worked quite fine while i was working at home. last weekend i shifted back to the hostel and there goes my communication out of the window. Some of the bytes are trasmitted without error while the rest turn out to be garbage values. Later I tried the same ciruit+program combination on an AMD machine. with this, there is absolutely no communication between the two machines. Has anybody else faced such a problem?? why are some bytes corrupted while the rest are okay? could it be an earthing problem? please help, sushil |
